Pour Over

Pour Over is one of the most sought after and adopted manual brewing techniques. The extraction and output makes it a favorable choice for most home brewers. There are numerous Pour Over brewers available in the market, the below recipe is for a Hario V60 brewer, since it is the most commonly used.

Apart from the Coffee Beans the below mentioned 5 variables make a major difference in your V60 output:

  • Water and Water Temprature

  • Grind Size 

  • Brewing Ratio 

  • Brewing Time

  • Pouring Ratio and Time

Here is the simplest method for consistent output:

  • Rinse the Filter Paper with Water

  • Add 20 grams of ground coffee

  •  First Pour (Bloom)- 50 grams

  • Second Pour-  100 grams 

  • Third Pour- 150 grams

  • Pour in a cup and enjoy
